Sumo Wrestling

I think I'm going to start a new profession in Sumo Wrestling! This past weekend I went to a friend's 40th Birthday party and she had rented Sumo costumes and it was a blast. I was the top winner in the girls bracket! Let me tell you though my calves were sooo sore the next day!

First Year Done

Yippeee! My first year teaching has been a roller coaster but it is over! I am really going to miss my kids but many of the staff I am not going to miss. There are a handful of staff members that I have really enjoyed getting to know and hope to keep in touch. After my first year, I have decided to resign and find a new school to work for and I know it will happen. I trust that I will find the perfect job for me in another school. This is a risk I have never taken before, I am the type of person who likes to secure a position before I leave the current one.

I have offically finished my alternative certification program and will be receiving my certifications in the mail in about a week. I can't wait! Wish me luck on finding the perfect job for me.

Off to Grandma's House Part 2

Mom returned from Pennsylvania Saturday! She had more crazy adventures without me :( but at least she had a good time. Mom brought my camera back so that means I can post some more pictures. I think we took a little over 200 pictures, but luckily I can't post that many.

After dinner we took a walk and Eyon found this gun and helmet.

Behind me is a view of the farm that my Grandpa's family owns...Beautiful!

Mom and I climbed this fire tower, I think it was 11 stories!!
Climbing at Bear Town Rocks....again

Before I got on the plane I asked my cousin to take me 4 wheelin'.
I got a little muddy but it was a blast!

Off to Grandma's House

Last Friday Mom and I traveled to Pennsylvania to visit Grandma. Below our some pictures from the trip. I left my small camera in PA so when my mom comes back I will upload some pictures from there. I did not want to leave, Grandma leaves in a gorgeous area near Clarion. I wish I could live up there!

Mom and Grandma showing me some bridges.
The church by my Aunt's farm, where my Grandpa is buried. Gorgeous view.
Look at those roots over the rocks.

April Birthdays

On April 17th, Matthew and I packed up with the puppies and drove to College Station to celebrate April Birthdays (Matthew, my Dad, and myself). On Saturday morning, Matthew and I woke up to run a 5k in the pouring rain!!! We both did awesome. For me, it was a special 5k because the first 5k I ever ran was the Theta 5k and this was Matthew's first 5k. Later that night we went to the Aggie Baseball game where we kicked butt! Then Sunday morning we pulled over and took a few bluebonnet pictures.

25th Birthday

For my birthday Matthew invited some friends to come over and celebrate. It was a blast! My friends mean so much to me. =) Below are some pictures from my party and then some from Matthew and my birthday with family. I will post my family pictures in a later post since it's on a different camera.

This tiger did NOT like Matthew. He got about 2 feet from him and started roaring! If we walked away and came back he would roar again.

Beware of the territorial duck! I think he wanted to bite Matthew. :(

But he is very cute!

What cuddle bugs....

Watch out!

On March 21, Katie and Bryan got married in Victoria. Matthew and I decided to turn it into a mini vacation. Enjoy our pictures.
